Nepal’s incredible diversity will be on display in the US this Fall. Sarvodaya USA is bringing Kutumba, a six-member folk and popular music ensemble, for a tour of the United States. With over 51,000 fans on Facebook, Kutumba’s unique musical style lends a contemporary vibe to indigenous Nepali music collected from throughout the country.
1 Million People in Sri Lanka Need Your Help
A torrential monsoon rain has affected Eastern Sri Lanka. About 30 people have lost their lives and over 1 million people, equal to that of the tsunami, have been affected by the floods.
Sarvodaya is distributing food packets and immediate relief supplies. Working closely with local government agencies, Sarvodaya is assessing needs and allocating resources wherever possible.
