The CTI has
been conceived by a British volunteer, Miss Catherine Leech; she
brings 23 years’ experience in travel and tourism and has spent the
first nine months of her tenure exploring Sri Lanka, understanding
Sarvodaya and consulting with our communities, elders, staff and
management. She has recently been joined by Mr Jagath Wijesekara, a
Sri Lankan with extensive experience in hospitality and a deep
understanding of community-based tourism. The team is supported by
Ms Jhansi Ponniah, a Sri Lankan volunteer with 30 years’ experience
in the country’s tourism industry. |
